Grammar describes the structure of a language, or how it works. Grammar exists because, in order to communicate with precision, languages need to follow rules. All children learn grammar naturally while learning their native language. A few of the trickier aspects of grammar, have to be learned deliberately. For example - Subject-verb agreement, 'dangling' or 'misrelated' participles etc.
