According to the epistemological approach, knowledge must be objective, subjective, and evidentiary. Epistemology includes subjectivity as the basis of human existence in the natural world and the world with others. 

Some theories and perspectives on how we acquire knowledge include:
Empiricism: Knowledge is primarily gained through sensory experience and observation of the external world.
Rationalism: Knowledge is acquired through reason and innate mental concepts. 
The body of knowledge consists of a series of facts, concepts, principles, classifications, generalizations, laws, and theories.
