Fountainhead is a novel by Ayn Rand, which pushes her big idea of objectivism, which according to Rand, is  an ethics of rational self-interest from which any altruistic motives or duties are excluded. Rand defends pure laissez-faire capitalism. Basically Ayn Rand defends individual centered capitalism in her works. If you can reason, use logic well, you don't have to listen to what others are saying. Look after your self interest and the rest will follow.
