1. Why do we even have introns? What is the point of chunks of rna that don't code for anything?

To this day, the evolutionary function of introns in eukaryotic cells is not well understood. However, scientists hypothesize that introns play an important role in maintaining the appropriate size of our genome and for regulating gene expression.
Untranslated region. It refers to small portions at the ends of the RNA transcript that do not get translated. Remember, Translation always starts at AUG and ends at stop codons, so UTR's are just the mRNA before the start codon and after the stop codon.
Succinate is converted into Fumarate by Succinate Dehydrogenase, which also converts FAD to FADH2. This step is unique in that it does not occur in the mitochondrial matrix. Instead, Succinate Dehydrogenase is an integral protein on the inner mitochondrial membrane, and this reaction occurs within the membrane.
Restriction enzymes (also known as restriction endonucleases) are enzymes that recognize palindromic double stranded DNA sequences and cut them. These enzymes are isolated from bacteria and are used to cut up DNA strands in the laboratory. A palindromic sequence of double stranded DNA is a strand of DNA that has the same 5' to 3' sequence on both strands, they're just going in opposite directions.
