Here are some examples of sensors and transducers:

Current sensors: Measure the AC or DC current flowing through a conductor. They convert the current into a proportional electrical signal that can be measured and analyzed.
Pressure sensors: Generate a signal related to the pressure imposed. Typically, such a signal is electrical. Pressure sensors are often fabricated using thin membranes that flex under pressure.
