The Association of Social Work Boards Masters Exam, formerly known as the ASWB Intermediate exam, is a licensure examination designed by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB).

The ASWB exams measure skills and knowledge in social work-specific content areas, such as human development and behavior, social and economic justice, and intervention processes. 

Each ASWB exam consists of 170 multiple choice questions, including 150 scored questions and 20 questions used for data collection regarding the effectiveness of the exam.
