Atomic model, in physics, a model used to describe the structure and makeup of an atom. Atomic models have gone through many changes over time.
The 4 common atomic models are: Dalton's Model of the Atom, J.J Thomson's Model of Atom, Rutherford's Atomic Model, and Neil Bohr's Atomic Theory.
