Air Data Systems, Altitude and Heading Reference topics include: Pressure measurements, side slip measurements, air data equations and computers, helicopter, optical and hyper sonic air data, vertical and heading references.

An air data attitude heading reference system (ADAHRS) is a dual-channel system that combines information about altitude, attitude, airspeed, air temperature, and heading into a single box.

An attitude and heading reference system (AHRS) is a motion sensor that uses an inertial measurement unit (IMU) to measure the Earth's magnetic field, acceleration, and angular rate. The IMU contains three magnetometers, three accelerometers, and three gyroscopes. The AHRS also contains a central processing unit (CPU) that includes the Extended Kalman Filter.
The AHRS integrates multi-axes, accelerometers, magnetometers, and gyroscopes to estimate an object's orientation in space. Typical data outputs include measurements of roll, yaw, and pitch.
The AHRS can be combined with air data computers to form an ADAHRS, which provides additional information such as airspeed, altitude, and outside air temperature.
