Organic and biological chemistry is a branch of chemistry that studies the synthesis, structure, and function of organic and biologically relevant molecules. It also studies reaction mechanisms.
Organic chemistry is the study of carbon compounds. It focuses on reactions that happen in water at about pH 7, and on sugars.
Biochemistry is another branch of chemistry that studies reactions and processes that happen inside living organisms. It focuses on reactions that happen in living cells.
Bioorganic chemistry involves the study of biological processes using chemical methods.

Organic chemistry methods are used to synthesize biological molecules and to examine their structure, to investigate biochemical reactions.
