Here are some types of stones used in construction:

Granite
One of the most commonly used stones in construction due to its strength, hardness, and durability. It has a compressive strength of 100–250 MPa.

Marble
A metamorphic rock made from limestone or dolostone crystals. It is often used in construction for statues, buildings, floors, fireplaces, and countertops. Marble is a relatively soft stone that comes in many colors and patterns.

Sandstone
A variety of stones and minerals made from compressed sand grains during cement production. Sandstone can have a crushed and shaved appearance.
