Business research is the process of gathering information on all areas of business with the purpose of using this data to boost organizational growth, increase sales, and maximize profit. Business research helps businesses decide which products or services will perform well in the market and will therefore be most profitable to produce.

Business research gives you data on the target customer’s preferences, purchasing behavior, demographics, and pain points.

It also helps you find areas where costs can be minimized to increase profits.

Business Research methods can be divided into Quantitative research (numbers) and Qualitative research (interviews, focus groups, ethnographic research, content analysis, case study research).
