Container as a Service (CaaS) is a cloud service that manages containerized software packages. It allows developers and IT departments to upload, organize, run, scale, manage, and stop containers.

CaaS is a type of container-based virtualization that provides users with container engines, orchestration, and the underlying compute resources. The entire infrastructure runs on cloud machines and network routing systems.
CaaS can help development teams streamline software development cycles. By abstracting the underlying infrastructure, DevOps can develop more lightweight and quicker deployments.

Some examples of CaaS services include:
Amazon Elastic Container Service (ECS)
Amazon Fargate
Azure Container Instances (ACI)
Google Container Engine(GKE)
AWS (ECS)
Azure (ACS)
Pivotal (PKS)
