Structural analysis is a scientific method that engineers use to predict how structures will behave under different types of loads. It's a branch of solid mechanics that uses simplified models for solids like bars, beams, and shells.

Structural analysis involves determining the effects of loads on physical structures, such as bridges, buildings, and aircraft. It uses mathematical and mechanical principles to determine the magnitude of internal forces that develop in a structure in response to external loading.

FEA is a complex numerical method that's more complicated but more accurate than hand calculations. It provides a safe simulation of potentially dangerous or destructive load conditions and failure modes.
Static analysis allows the calculation of displacements, stresses, and strains in one or multiple solid components. The results are a consequence of the applied constraints and loads, for example, bearings, gravity, forces, etc.
