Like other languages, English uses everyday verbs such as 'do' and 'make'. Some other languages have a single verb that covers all these usages of both making and doing. For instance French: faire; German: machen; Spanish: hacer. However, in English, you need to learn which word ('make' or 'do') to use in difference circumstances.
