An adjective is a word that modifies a noun or pronoun. Adjectives can be used in two ways in sentences and clauses:

- Right next to the noun or pronoun
- Following a linking verb

Here are some types of adjectives:
Demonstrative adjectives:
Used to indicate or demonstrate specific people, animals, or things. For example, "This movie is my favorite".
Possessive adjectives: Used to express possession or ownership. For example, "Gregory put his hat on the table".
Superlative adjectives: Used to describe an object that is at the upper or lower limit of a quality. For example, "the tallest", "the smallest", "the fastest", or "the highest". 

Other types of adjectives include: Interrogative adjectives, Compound adjectives.
