Key Details About the Type II Exam:
Targeted Systems: Commercial/industrial refrigeration, split-system AC, heat pumps, and grocery store systems.
Exclusions: It does not cover small appliances (Type I) or low-pressure chillers (Type III).
Exam Structure: Consists of 25 questions on Type II-specific topics, plus 25 questions from the "Core" section (total 50 questions).
Passing Score: A score of at least 72% (or 18/25 questions) is required to pass.
