Ignition and Power Transmission topics include: IC engine ignition system, power transmission system, battery ignition system working principle, fuel supply system and its components, fuel quality, volatility, ignition quality and detonation.

Here are some basics about ignition and power transmission:

Ignition: The ignition system produces high voltage, which is applied between the electrodes. This breaks down the insulation between the electrodes, which causes a current to flow. This creates an electrical spark, which activates fuel particles between the electrodes. The spark also triggers a chemical reaction, which generates heat and forms a flame core. The heat activates the air-fuel mixture around it, which causes combustion to spread.
Power transmission: Power transmission is the transfer of energy from where it's generated to a place where it can be used to perform work.
Transmission: A transmission is a component in a car that ensures the proper amount of power is transmitted to the wheels. The transmission takes power from the engine and adjusts it according to driving conditions.
Clutch: The clutch is a mechanical part in a vehicle that handles power transmission between the engine and the wheels. It's most commonly found in manual transmission vehicles. The clutch works by engaging two shafts that transfer power to the gearbox and get the vehicle moving.
Lubrication: Lubrication within an engine is a fundamental part of a functioning powertrain. Without it, internal parts of an engine will make contact, causing swift and severe wear.
Power screw; A power screw, also known as a leadscrew or translation screw, is a screw used as a power transmission linkage element. It translates rotational motion into linear motion.
