Kinematics of flow is the study of fluid motion without considering the factors that affect the motion. Fluid dynamics, on the other hand, focuses on the factors that affect fluid motion, such as pressure, momentum, and force. 

Here are some types of flow:
Laminar flow:
The continuous movement of flowing fluid that follows or respects streamlines
Turbulent flow: Characterized by erratic property modifications in the flow
Rotational flow: The type of flow in which the fluid particles rotate about their own axis while flowing along the streamlines
Irrotational flow: The type of flow in which the fluid particles do not rotate about their own axis while flowing along the streamlines
Unsteady flow: A flow in which the quantity of liquid flowing per second is not constant
Steady flow: A flow in which the conditions (velocity, pressure, and cross-section) may differ from point to point but do not change with time
