Fast review mode: answers are shown by default so you can skim quickly. Hide them if you want to self-test.

Key questions should be raised during a reading selection. Students should be prepared and taught to figure out what questions they should ask. In return, they will be better suited to answer these same type of questions. These questions usually begin with who, what, where, when, why and how.

Choose the questions that can be answered from the selection as well as answer those same type of questions from reading the selection below:

Dinosaurs were a large group of reptiles. They roamed the earth over 200 million years ago. There were many types of dinosaurs. Many of the dinosaurs had either two or four legs. Some had arms. There were birds that were believed to be dinosaurs.

The biggest dinosaur was called the Dreadnoughtus. Its tail was 30 feet long. It weighed 65 tons. That is about the weight of a space shuttle. Bones of this dinosaur were found.

Flying beasts were found millions of years ago. They were not dinosaurs. They were flying reptiles. One of these reptiles was called the Pterosaur. They did not have feathers like birds. They had skin over their wings. They would eat fish.

The diet of the dinosaurs was lizards, eggs and other animals. Many of the dinosaurs ate plants and fruits. These animals were big, but most did not eat meat.
