When reading texts, you may come across words that they do not know. It is beneficial to use context clues to determine the meanings of these words. Sometimes, sentences contain definitions, examples or restatements in the text to help students with uncommon words or phrases. Even in writing, you may need to include these suggestions in their sentences if they are including difficult words.
