Text 1 - The Yard

Quick changes can be made to a yard in order to transform it into a showplace without taking hours and hours of a person’s weekend. Mulch is fairly inexpensive with it being just a few dollars per bag. Mulch may also be bought in mass quantities if the yard contains many flowerbeds. Also, mulch can be put down rather quickly by dumping the bags on the floor of the flowerbeds. It also gives a fast clean appearance immediately. Another quick change that can be made is by planting flowers or large bushes in areas of the yard. In order to give a dramatic appearance immediately, the bushes and plants would have to already be in bloom. Simply digging a hole, planting the flower or bush in it and pushing the dirt back into the hole requires very little time.

Text 2 - General Gardening

Gardening is a hobby that can be done at any time unless the weather is bad. Also, the amount of money spent on gardening can vary. It can be done very cheaply or very expensively. Seeds are very cheap and can produce beautiful flowers and vegetables over time. However, if someone wants to produce fruit, vegetables or flowers more quickly, small plants can be bought from nurseries that are having sales. Also, farmers and other gardeners might give away a few of their plants.

Text 3 - Flowers and Seasons

Flowers can be planted throughout the year depending on the type of flower that is being planted. Not all plants grow in the spring or summer. A few plants grow in the winter. Hollies and camellias are common flowers that produce during the months of January and February. With other plants, it's beneficial to plant them in the fall. Daffodils and pansies are typically planted in gardens during the autumn season. Pansies are actually quite strong and hearty flowers that can sometimes endure the cold winter season.
