Carburetion topics include: Carburetion, air fuel mixtures, automotive engines, carburetor parts and its types, altitude compensation and modern carburetors.

Carburetion is the process of mixing fuel and air to create an explosive mixture. It's typically used in internal-combustion engines.

The carburettor atomizes the fuel and entrain it into the air as it is drawn into cylinders of an Otto Cycle Engine.

Factors that influence carburetion include:
Time available for the mixture preparation
Temperature of the incoming air
Quality of the fuel supply

Some disadvantages of carburetors include:
Not the most efficient systems
Dated design
Most carburetors have a slight lag, which results in relatively slow throttle response
Certain components like diaphragm are relatively delicate and prone to damage
Air fuel mixture fluctuates, affecting engine smoothness
