Questions below are about the following story:    

The Top Deck    
(1) We walked outside through the sliding glass doors and waited in line for the large, double-decker red bus. (2) My family flew to London for a week in July to celebrate my sisters graduation. (3) She wore a blue cap and gown. (4) The sky was gray, and light puddles spotted the ground. (5) As the bus pulled up against the curb, dirty water splashed our feet.    
(6) The driver’s seat was on the opposite side of the bus, and the driver smiled at me when I showed him my ticket. (7) I looked out the window and realised that we were driving on the opposite side of the street. (8) All around us people who were on the wrong side of the street driving from what looked like the passenger seat. (9) The bus was filled with people. (10) Almost every seat was taken, and people were even standing in the aisle holding onto handrails and poles. (11) Their was a spiral staircase directly behind the driver, and we walked up it to try and find more seats. (12) There were two rows of seats upstairs and a large window that looked onto the streets. (13) For seats were open near the front of the bus and we hurried to get them.    
(14) The bus stopped every few seconds, and each time I had to hold onto my seat to keep from sliding into the aisle. (15) 'What street are we looking for?' my dad asked my mom. (16) 'Oxford' she replied. (17) I looked out the giant window. (18) We passed a large building that was shaped like an egg, and we continued to travel. (19) The bus driver’s voice came over the speakers. (20) 'Now approaching Liverpool,' he said    
(21) My mom looked at my dad. (22) I grabbed my sister’s arm, but she was busy taking pictures of the buildings out the window. (23) 'Liverpool,' my mom whispered with a worried look on her face. (24) 'We’re lost, aren’t we?' my dad said.
