The Tudor period is thought of as the beginning of the modern age. Many things associated with the Middle Ages, like the wealth of monasteries and feudalism, came to an end under the Tudors. But what was everyday life like for the ordinary people living in Tudor England? The Tudors had many new inventions that meant life was becoming a little better than it had been in medieval times. But it could still be hard - especially for the poor. Almost everything had to be done by hand at home and so housewives were very busy people.
