An electrical actuating system is a device that converts electrical energy into a mechanical action. 

Here are some examples of electrical actuating systems:
Electric linear actuators:
These actuators are electrically actuated and can offer motion such as push, pull, and trigger to equipment. For example, electric linear actuators can be used to open or close power windows with a single button press.
Electromechanical locks: These locks are actuating devices that can be controlled by applying or removing the supply voltage.
Electrothermal actuators: These actuators are activated by the user to produce internal heat generation. They are made of an electrically and thermally conductive material that generates internal heat with the flow of a controlled electric current.
Horizontal stabilizer trim actuators: These actuators are used for the horizontal stabilizer of a civil aircraft. They are one of the key equipments for the aircraft to realize pitch control. 

Other types of actuators include: Mechanical actuators, Hydraulic actuators, Pneumatic actuators.
