This quiz covers: Characteristics, history and terminology of neural networks. It also contains questions and answers on models, topology and learning concepts of neural networks.

A neural network is a machine learning process that teaches computers to process data in a way that mimics the human brain. Neural networks are a subset of artificial intelligence (AI) and are also known as artificial neural networks (ANNs) or simulated neural networks (SNNs).
Neural networks are made up of interconnected nodes or neurons in a layered structure. The output from one neuron is given as input to another neuron through connections called weights. These connections act as a firing station to transfer data through the entire neural network.

Neural networks are used to solve problems in artificial intelligence and have applications in many disciplines, including: Predictive modeling, Adaptive control, Facial recognition, Handwriting recognition, General game playing, Generative AI.
One of the best-known examples of a neural network is Google's search algorithm.
