Cancer can be deadly if left untreated. Some signs and symptoms of cancer include: 
Lumps or growths on the body, Unexplained weight loss, Fever, Tiredness and fatigue, Pain, Night sweats, Changes in digestion, Changes in skin, Cough 

Some common types of cancer treatment include:
Surgery, Chemotherapy, Radiation therapy, Bone marrow transplant, Immunotherapy, Hormone therapy, Targeted drug therapy 
 

Some ways to prevent cancer include: Stop smoking and Avoid excessive sun exposure. 
Cancer can result from changes in a person's genetic code. Genes influence the cells' production of proteins, and proteins carry many of the instructions for cellular growth and division. Some genes change proteins that would usually repair damaged cells. This can lead to a predisposition for cancer.
