PMI and Agile project management focus on delivering value through flexibility, iterative development, and high stakeholder collaboration, rather than rigid planning. Key concepts include servant leadership, cross-functional teams, incremental delivery, and continuous improvement (retrospectives), aiming to manage uncertainty and enhance customer satisfaction.

Core Agile Principles (PMI Context)
Customer Collaboration:
Involving stakeholders throughout the process rather than relying solely on contracts.
Embracing Change: Welcoming changing requirements, even late in development, to provide competitive advantages.
Iterative & Incremental Delivery: Delivering working software in short, functional increments (sprints) to gain feedback.
Self-Organizing Teams: Empowering teams to determine how to best complete their work.

Key Agile Frameworks & Practices
Scrum:
A framework utilizing roles (Scrum Master, Product Owner, Team), events (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-up, Review, Retrospective), and artifacts (Product Backlog, Sprint Backlog).
Kanban: Focuses on visualizing workflow, limiting work-in-progress (WIP), and maximizing efficiency.
User Stories & Story Points: Breaking down requirements into user-focused functionality and estimating effort based on complexity rather than just time.
Velocity: A measure of the amount of work a team can handle during a single iteration, used for planning.

PMI-Specific Agile Concepts
Servant Leadership:
The project manager acts as a facilitator, removing impediments, supporting the team, and empowering them, rather than directing them.
Hybrid Approaches: Combining predictive (Waterfall) and adaptive (Agile) methods based on project uncertainty and volatility.
Value-Driven Delivery: Prioritizing work to deliver the highest value to the customer as quickly as possible.
Risk Management: Using short iterations to identify risks early and adapt accordingly.

Key Metrics & Tools
Burn-down/Burn-up Charts:
Visual tools to track remaining work vs. time in an iteration.
Retrospectives: Regular team meetings to reflect on performance and identify improvements for the next iteration.
