Solar power:
Solar panels capture energy from the sun and charge a battery in a generator. The stored charge then produces electricity.
Power stations: Also called power plants, power stations are industrial facilities that generate electricity. Most power stations have one or more generators that convert mechanical power into three-phase electric power.
Wind power: Wind turbines are the most important form of renewable energy exploitation. Wind turbines are a combination of a wind mill and a dynamo. The wind makes the rotor turn, and a generator transforms the movement into electrical energy. Wind power is the primary source of electricity.
Hydroelectric power: This is one of the earliest and simplest ways to generate electricity. It takes advantage of the natural water cycle by using the flow of water through a dam to generate electricity year-round.
Green electricity: Green plants are a reliable source of electricity that can generate electricity 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Nuclear power: Nuclear power is a major generator of electricity in many countries. It is considered an essential part of their electricity supply and has low carbon emissions.
Thermoelectric power: Thermoelectric uses light as a source of electricity and a battery to store electrical power. It can be used as a small generator and can increase the efficiency of energy use.
