A Dose Volume Histogram (DVH) graphically represents the percentage or volume of a structure receiving a specific dose or higher. It is used to assess target coverage and OAR sparing.

Worked example:
If D95 for tumor = 60 Gy, then 95% of tumor volume receives at least 60 Gy.
