Redis (Remote Dictionary Server) is an open-source, in-memory key-value database, cache, and message broker. It's used for caching web pages, building data infrastructure for real-time applications, and more.  Redis stores data in memory, which delivers speed, reliability, and performance.

Note: Remote Dictionary Server (Redis) and MongoDB are two NoSQL databases that store data in an unstructured format. NoSQL databases store data differently than relational databases, which use tables, rows, and columns.

It supports multiple data types and structures, including:
Unique and unsorted string elements
Binary-safe data
HyperLogLogs
Bit arrays
Hashes
Lists
