A solar water heater is a device that uses sunlight to heat water. It can be a cost-effective way to generate hot water for your home. Solar water heaters are eco-friendly, low maintenance, easy to install, and durable. 

Solar water heaters use solar collectors on your rooftop to convert sunlight into solar energy. This energy is then used to heat the water in your home. Solar water heaters work on the thermosiphon principle and are designed to provide hot water without consuming expensive electricity. 

There are two types of solar water heaters:
Evacuated tube collector:
Uses vacuum tubes made of borosilicate glass with a special coating to absorb solar energy
Flat plate collector: Uses a black absorbing surface to absorb solar radiation and transfer the energy to water flowing through it
