Total Quality Management (TQM) leadership is the ability to inspire, guide, and empower a team to achieve the goals of TQM. 
TQM leadership requires leaders to be committed to their tasks, responsible for making continuous improvements, and performing their roles effectively. 

TQM leadership recognizes the important role leaders play in creating a culture that values quality and continuous improvement. 

Leaders are responsible for:
Setting the vision and direction for the organization
Providing the resources and support necessary for employees to participate in the TQM process
Inspiring, by appropriate means, sufficient competence to influence a group of individuals to become willing followers in the achievement of organizational goals
