Key Strategies for Fall Prevention
Hazards Identification: Regularly inspect work areas for uneven surfaces, spills, and unguarded edges.
Engineering Controls: Install guardrails, toe-boards, and secure covers on floor holes or elevated platforms.
Housekeeping: Maintain clear walkways, immediately clean up spills, and ensure proper lighting.
Equipment & PPE: Utilize ladders safely and ensure workers wear proper, slip-resistant footwear.
Fall Protection Systems: Use personal fall arrest systems (e.g., safety harnesses, lifelines) when working at heights.
Training & Procedures: Train workers in, and enforce, safe work procedures for working at heights and in hazardous areas.

Key Fall Prevention Measures
Inspect Equipment: Regularly check personal fall protection equipment (harnesses, lanyards) to ensure it is in good condition.
Three Points of Contact: Maintain three points of contact (two hands and one foot, or two feet and one hand) when using ladders.
Signage: Install warning signs for wet, slippery, or dangerous areas.
Emergency Planning: Develop a site-specific Fall Prevention Plan (FPP) for high-risk work.
