The center of gravity (CG) is the average location of an object's weight. It's also the point through which gravity acts on an object.

The center of gravity is the balance point of an object. It's the point where the distribution of weight is equal in all directions.
In a uniform gravitational field, an object's center of gravity and center of mass are the same. The center of gravity is also the point about which the algebraic sum of moments of weights of all the particles constituting the body is zero.
