An interim Government of Lomalia seeks control over certain funds belonging to the Republic of Lomalia. Lomalia is at present in a state of civil war, with no faction in effective control of the State. The court asks the foreign office to give its opinion on status of the interim Government and the foreign office informs the Court that the U.K. no longer recognized the Government and that the attitude of the government is to be inferred from the nature of its dealings with the regime concerned on a Government to Government basis.
