Anatomy and physiology are the scientific study of the body's systems and structures, and how they interact. Anatomy is the study of the body's internal and external structures and their physical relationships. It focuses on the physical arrangement (structure) of parts in the body. Physiology is the study of the inner functioning of cells, tissues, and organs. It studies the functions of those structures. Physiology describes the chemistry and physics behind basic body functions, from how molecules behave in cells to how systems of organs work together.
