The four categories of Bihar Government Jobs are:-
1. Bihar State Teaching Jobs Bihar School Education Board (BSEB) conducts the Bihar State Teacher’s Eligibility Test (TET). It comprises two papers. Paper 1 is for the post of a primary teacher, and Paper 2 is for the post of a secondary teacher. Accordingly, candidates apply as per their interest to appear in the papers.
2. Bihar State Police Jobs Bihar state government every year notifies a sizable number of Bihar state police job vacancies. A person requires a minimum education qualification that he or she must be a high school pass-out to appear in the examination. The salary package of the sub-inspector in Bihar police starts with basic pay of Rs. 35,000.
Bihar government conducts Bihar Police Sub Inspector, Constable, Home Guard, Forest Guard, Police Forester, and Enforcement Sub Inspector examinations.
3. Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) Civil service is still the best bet of any government job aspirant. Bihar public service commission every year conducts a prodigious number of examinations to recruit eligible candidates for various positions in the government department. It conducts examinations such as the BPSC Mineral Development Officer Exam, Bihar Judicial Services Exam, BPSC Assistant Engineer, Assistant Prosecution officer, BPSC Accounts Officer Competitive Examination, and BPSC Project Manager Recruitment 2021 examination for the post of a project manager.
4. Bihar Staff Selection Commission (BSSC) Like any other state, Bihar also has a Staff Selection Commission, and it conducts a wide array of examinations to induct capable individuals in divisional and district level for group three posts. Some of the examinations conducted by the Staff Selection Commission are BSSC IT Instructor exam, BSSC Rajbhasha Sahayak Exam, BSSC Inter-level Combined Competitive Exam. However, those who are selected by BSSC work under the supervision of BPSC officers.
