Oracle is a relational database management system (RDBMS) and one of the largest vendors in the enterprise IT market. It is built on top of SQL, a standardized programming language, and is compatible with a wide range of platforms including Windows, UNIX, Linux, and macOS.
Oracle has six levels of certification credentials: Oracle Certified Junior Associate (OCJA) Oracle Certified Associate (OCA) Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) Oracle Certified Master (OCM) Oracle Certified Expert (OCE) Oracle Certified Specialist (OCS)
The three main levels are OCA, OCP, and another level. The OCA is the first level, and to become OCA, you must pass two tests, including the final "Oracle Database 11g: Administration I" test. To become OCP, you must: Take an instructor-led course, Take an exam, and Take a hands-on course. Most Oracle certification exams cost $245, but junior associate exams, which are aimed at students, cost $95. Oracle Certified Master exams are day-long or multi-day, performance-based exams and cost more.
