Moulding with Polymers topics include: Injection moulding process, polymers extrusion, blow moulding, thermoforming and processing of thermosetting plastics.

Moulding of polymers is the process of shaping polymer materials into desired forms.

Here are some types of molding processes:
Injection molding:
Compressing polymer granules with a ram or screw
Heating them until they melt: Squirting them into a cold, split mold under pressure
Cooling below a specific temperature: Opening the mold and ejecting the product
Compression molding: A process in which a molding polymer is squeezed into a preheated mold
Reaction injection molding (RIM): A process that uses thermosetting polymers to produce strong, lightweight, and flexible parts

Melt molding: Heating polymers above their melting point so they can assume a liquid form
Allowing the resulting polymer to cool and solidify in the form of the mold

Transfer molding: A process that involves loading the material into a chamber prior to being forced into the mold
