Manipulation of Genetic Material topics include: Engineered genes and their uses, DNA and RNA libraries construction.

Genetic engineering is a process that involves manipulating an organism's DNA to alter its characteristics. This process can also be used to create new organisms.

Here are some techniques used to manipulate genetic material:
Genetic engineering:
Involves isolating DNA from another organism and combining it with the DNA of that individual. This process can also involve gene splicing, which introduces new genetic material into an organism's DNA.
Polymerase chain reaction (PCR): A detection method used to amplify a specific target genetic material.
Gel electrophoresis: A technique that compares genetic material from a known identity to genetic material from unknown identities.
DNA sequencing: The study and manipulation of genetic material.
DNA and RNA extraction: Involves directly manipulating the DNA and RNA of an organism. This can involve transferring new genes to an organism, or correcting defective genes.
Gene therapy: Involves administering genetic material to modify or manipulate the expression of a gene product.
