Common barriers to communication are:

Language barriers: These can occur when people speak different languages or have physical language disabilities. For example, using unfamiliar words or phrases can lead to confusion.
Emotional barriers: These are mental blocks that affect how you perceive others' actions and communicate your feelings. Strong emotions like anger, sadness, and nervousness can also affect mental well-being and communication.
Attitudinal barriers: These are behaviors or perceptions that prevent people from communicating effectively. They can result from personality conflicts, poor management, resistance to change, or a lack of motivation.
Interpersonal barriers: These are negative patterns of behavior that hinder communication. Miscommunication can result from unintentional verbal or non-verbal cues.
