Dedicated in 1993, the U.S. ___ Memorial Museum in Washington came about in large part because of Elie Wiesel's efforts. Today, this museum has received 38 million visitors.

develop ways to prevent and resolve war, genocide, terrorism, gross violations of human rights; and
build peaceful and just systems and societies.
