On October 7, 2011, the Nobel Peace Prize winners were announced. The award was shared by three women: a Yemeni activist, the current President of Liberia, and ___ (the 'star' of Pray the Devil Back to Hell). It was she who had the dream of the women coming together and working for peace.

Peace studies is an interdisciplinary academic field that draws on political science, sociology, history, anthropology, theology, psychology, philosophy, and other fields to:

understand the causes of armed conflict;
develop ways to prevent and resolve war, genocide, terrorism, gross violations of human rights; and
build peaceful and just systems and societies.
