<table>: The table container, specifying where the table begins and where it ends
<tr>: Defines a table row
<th>: Defines the table header
<td>: Defines the table data (ie. table cells) 

By default, any text in the <th> tag is bold and centered, while any text in the <td> tag is unbolded and left-aligned.
