Carpentry is a skilled trade that deals with the cutting, shaping and installation of building materials during the construction of buildings, ships, timber bridges, concrete formwork, etc. Carpentry is learned via apprentcieship and training programs in many countries. However, it is still a skill that can be learned and honed while working.
