1. What do you do if you want to use your phone, but you have forgotten your passcode, and the phone is now disabled?

Make sure that your device isn't connected to your computer. >>> Turn it off. >>> Enter recovery mode by connecting to iTunes (follow specific procedure for your phone) >>> Locate your device on your computer. >>> When you see the option to Restore or Update, choose Restore. Finder or iTunes will download software for your device. If it takes more than 15 minutes, your device will exit recovery mode and you'll need to repeat the process. >>> Wait for the process to finish. Then you can set up and use your device. NOTE: If Find My Phone (aka Activation Lock) is enabled, you will still need to use your Apple ID and password to be able to use your device after it has been restored.
You can restore the device, but even if you erase the iPhone (by restoring it), the iPhone/iPad will still ask for the Apple ID and password if Find My Phone (aka Activation Lock) is enabled. To try to reset the password or locate the Apple ID, you will need to go to iforgot.apple.com .
Hold in the side button and the volume-down key simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Don't release until you see the Apple logo (even if the screen goes black or you see the power-off slider).
Listed in the order of what is most preferable: 1. Exit the app. 2. Turn the phone off and on again. 3. Force restart the phone. 4. Reset the settings. 5. Erase the whole phone. 6. Restore the phone.
