The meta tags are “behind” the text and graphic on the page and therefore nor normally visible to the casual visitor. To view the meta tags on any website, choose the View menu from your browser’s tool bar. Then click on Source. A window will open, revealing the meta tag HTML text. The title meta describes the topic of the web page. The descriptive meta tag is what the user sees when your site comes up in the Google search engine results page during a key word search.
