A 4 year old boy is brought ti GP due to rash and low grade fever for last 36 hours. He has attended daycare for over a year, since age three. Boy does not appear very ill and is playing happily. Vitals are between the flags. Physical exam shows mild conjunctivitis, normal tongue, reddened throat with small red slightly raised lesions on the soft palate and enlarged cervical nodes, including the occipital node. Skin examination shows a fine, erythematous macular rash that is present on face, neck, most pronounced on trunk and not involving extremities. There are scratch marks at some parts of the rash. 1.
