Mean: image
Mode: the value in the list that appears most often
Median: is the middle number of a group of numbers arranged in order by size.
Range: the difference of the largest value and smallest value in the list

Examples:
Example 1. 
What is the mode of these numbers? image
Solution: Mode: the value in the list that appears most often. 
Therefore, the mode is number image. There are three number image in the data.

Example 2.  What is the median of these numbers? image
Solution: Write the numbers in order: image
The median is the number in the middle. Therefore, the median is image.

Example 3.  What is the mean of these numbers? image
Solution: Mean: image

Example 4.  What is the range in this list? image
Solution: Range is the difference of the largest value and smallest value in the list. The largest value is 20 and the smallest value is 3.
